Lord, restore!

The Lord wants to restore! No matter what has been robbed from you, God will restore.

But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore. Isaiah 42,22

That is God’s appeal for you and me, to ask Him to restore. No matter in which area you need restoration, let God do it by speaking out: Lord, restore! By speaking this out, you put your faith in His abilities. You look to Him, the almighty God for whom everything is possible. That is exactly the view we should have. We can do nothing to get restoration, but Jesus already did everything for it. Therefore we can now say: Lord, restore! At the cross, Jesus paid the price for every restoration you can think of. It is your right to receive restoration. Not because of you, but because of Jesus!

For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying , This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after. Jeremia 30,17

This is God’s promise to you, to restore health unto you and to heal you. When God restores, it’s always better than before. You will get more, either in quality or in quantity.

If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep. Exodus 22,1

That’s how God is. If you have been robbed of something, God not only replaces your loss, He gives you even more. The number five in Hebrew means grace. It’s God‘s grace, that brings you restoration. Grace also means supply. Therefore, expect God‘s rich grace and supply for every area in your life.

And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. Joel 2,25

God will restore to you lost years. His restoration is always bigger and greater than you can ever imagine. Start to ask God for restoration. In every area you need restoration, say: Lord, restore! He will do it!

Gott, stell wieder her!

Gott möchte wiederherstellen! Egal was dir geraubt wurde, Gott stellt wieder her.

Dennoch ist es ein beraubtes und geplündertes Volk; sie sind alle gebunden in Gefängnissen und verschlossen in Kerkern. Sie sind zur Beute geworden und es ist kein Erretter da; sie sind geplündert und es ist niemand da, der sagt: Gib wieder her! Jesaja 42,22

In der englischen Übersetzung wird Gib wieder her mit restore übersetzt. Restore bedeutet wiederherstellen. So könnte man also auch sagen: Es ist niemand da, der sagt: Stell wieder her! Das ist also Gottes Aufruf an dich und mich, Ihn zu bitten, wiederherzustellen. Egal in welchem Bereich du Wiederherstellung brauchst, lass Gott es tun indem du sagst: Gott, stell wieder her! Indem du das aussprichst, setzt du deinen Glauben in Seine Fähigkeiten. Du richtest deinen Blick somit auf Ihn, den allmächtigen Gott, dem alles möglich ist. Und das ist genau die Perspektive, die wir haben sollen. Wir können nichts tun um Wiederherstellung zu erlangen, aber Jesus hat bereits alles getan. Darum können wir heute sagen: Gott, stell wieder her! Denn Jesus hat den Preis für jegliche Wiederherstellung am Kreuz bezahlt. Es ist also dein Recht, Wiederherstellung zu erhalten. Nicht wegen dir, sondern wegen Jesus!

Aber dich will ich wieder gesund machen und deine Wunden heilen, spricht der HERR, weil man dich nennt: »die Verstossene« und: »Zion, nach der niemand fragt«. Jeremia 30,17

Auch hier wird in der englischen Übersetzung wieder das Wort restore verwendet. Das ist also Gottes Versprechen an dich, deine Gesundheit wiederherzustellen und dich zu heilen. Wenn Gott wiederherstellt, dann ist es besser als vorher. Du bekommst mehr, entweder in Qualität oder in Quantität.

Wenn jemand ein Rind oder ein Schaf stiehlt und schlachtet’s oder verkauft’s, so soll er fünf Rinder für ein Rind wiedergeben und vier Schafe für ein Schaf. 2. Mose 21,37

So ist Gott. Wenn dir etwas geraubt wurde, gleicht Gott nicht einfach nur den Verlust aus, Er gibt dir noch mehr dazu. Die Zahl fünf im Hebräischen bedeutet Gnade. Es ist Gottes Gnade, die dir Wiederherstellung bringt. Gnade bedeutet auch immer Versorgung. Darum erwarte Gottes reichliche Gnade und Versorgung für jeden Bereich in deinem Leben.

Und ich will euch die Jahre erstatten, deren Ertrag die Heuschrecken, Käfer, Geschmeiss und Raupen gefressen haben, mein grosses Heer, das ich unter euch schickte. Joel 2,25

Gott wird dir die verlorenen Jahre erstatten! Seine Wiederherstellung ist immer grösser und besser als du dir jemals vorstellen könntest. Darum, fange an Gott um Wiederherstellung zu bitten. In jedem Bereich, in dem du Wiederherstellung brauchst, sage: Gott, stell wieder her! Er wird es tun!
