Jesus in you meets every need

Have you ever felt helpless, because the demands of life threaten to swamp you? Then there is good news for you: Jesus in you will meet every need.

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 1 John 4,4

Jesus lives in you and he is greater than everything that could possibly block your way. When you face challenges, remember that Jesus lives in you. The sickness that afflicts you, meets Jesus in you. The financial need that burdens you, meets Jesus in you. The marriage problems demoralising you, meet Jesus in you. Where Jesus is, there are peace, release, restoration, healing, grace, etc. When you are conscious of Jesus meeting every need, problem and demand you face, it will change the way you look at things. You will no longer see the demand, but the supply through Jesus. When Jesus meets your needs, situations in your life will change. Sickness turns into health, lack turns into abundance, brokenness turns into restoration, etc.

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Isaiah 54,17

Wow, what a promise! What ever rises up against you, will not succeed. Jesus lives in you and he has given you his authority. Open your mouth and speak out Gods truth over your life. Throw Jesus into every situation in your life. Tell the problems: You will now meet Jesus in me! Jesus is perfect, mighty, powerful, gracious and everything is possible for him. What do you think happens, when the needs and problems meet Jesus? Jesus meets your needs. He transforms bitter situations in your life into sweet, joyful and blessed situations and he solves your problems. Gods blessings belong to you, because Jesus has paid the price for them on the cross. Through the blood of Jesus you are cleansed and forever made righteous. Now you are the righteousness of God in Jesus (2. Corinthians 5,21). Jesus righteousness is now your righteousness. You will not fail, because Jesus in you is greater then everything that could ever rise up against you. Jesus in you takes care of every need you have.

Listen and be healed!

Under the new covenant of grace, the way we receive healing is simple: Listen! To whom or what shall we listen?

My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body. Proverbs 4,20-22

The cross and the salvation through Jesus have made all the difference in the history of mankind. Through Jesus, the new covenant of grace came into effect. He has fulfilled the law and that’s the reason you live under the new covenant today and came under God’s grace. Therefore grace is the center of the new covenant. That is why you should listen to grace. In Proverbs 4 we can see, that the Word of God is like medicine for our body. You take medicine to get well. It’s the same with the Word of God. Every time you take a dose of God’s Word it brings life, healing and health to your body. You take spiritual medicine by reading a single bibleverse, listen to a good message or read a longer passage in the bible. Whenever you hear about grace and Jesus, you position yourself under a waterfall of God’s healing. Your job is to listen, Jesus’ job is to manifest your healing. You don’t have to worry about the manifestation, it will come automatically. Concentrate on the listening part.

Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. Mark 4,27

Similar to putting a seed in the ground and it grows and bears fruit, the gospel of grace produces healing in your body. To put the seed in the ground is to sit down and listen to the gospel of grace. Let Jesus manifest your healing. It is an absolute sure fact, that healing is part oft he salvation through Jesus and it is therefore your legal right, to enjoy complete healing and health.

Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53,4-5

God wants you to know, that it is his explicit wish for you to enjoy good health and all goes well with you (3 John 2). He gave his beloved son for you and along with him, you received everything (Romans 8,32). Listen to what Jesus has done for you, how much he loves you and how precious you are in his eyes. It’s only the grace of God that brings you healing, deliverance and restoration. The cross took the focus away from you and set it to Jesus. It’s no longer do, do, do but done, done, done! Because Jesus already did everything for you, you only need to listen. Through listenig faith arises in your heart and the seed of grace will take root, grow and bear fruit. Listen and be healed!

Lord, restore!

The Lord wants to restore! No matter what has been robbed from you, God will restore.

But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore. Isaiah 42,22

That is God’s appeal for you and me, to ask Him to restore. No matter in which area you need restoration, let God do it by speaking out: Lord, restore! By speaking this out, you put your faith in His abilities. You look to Him, the almighty God for whom everything is possible. That is exactly the view we should have. We can do nothing to get restoration, but Jesus already did everything for it. Therefore we can now say: Lord, restore! At the cross, Jesus paid the price for every restoration you can think of. It is your right to receive restoration. Not because of you, but because of Jesus!

For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying , This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after. Jeremia 30,17

This is God’s promise to you, to restore health unto you and to heal you. When God restores, it’s always better than before. You will get more, either in quality or in quantity.

If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep. Exodus 22,1

That’s how God is. If you have been robbed of something, God not only replaces your loss, He gives you even more. The number five in Hebrew means grace. It’s God‘s grace, that brings you restoration. Grace also means supply. Therefore, expect God‘s rich grace and supply for every area in your life.

And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. Joel 2,25

God will restore to you lost years. His restoration is always bigger and greater than you can ever imagine. Start to ask God for restoration. In every area you need restoration, say: Lord, restore! He will do it!

Jesus attracts blessing

As a believer of the new covenant, you enjoy every blessing of God, not because of you but because of Jesus. Through Jesus, you were given a free passage to the Father in heaven (John 14,6).

The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. Romans 8,15-17

If you said yes to Jesus, you became a child of God. Now you are like Jesus a son or daughter of God and therefore a co-heir with Christ. God became your father and as His beloved child, you can come to Him anytime and let Him know whatever bothers you. God said about Jesus, that He is His beloved son with whom He is well pleased (Matthew 3,17). Since you are in Jesus, God says the same about you. You are His beloved child and He is well pleased with you.

All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them. John 17,10

Everything that belongs to God, belongs to Jesus also. Jesus in you is like a magnet, that attracts every blessing of God. Therefore, Jesus is the only way to receive God’s blessings. You cannot earn these blessings, you can only let them be freely given to you. And God gives them generously to you (James 1,5). Jesus gave His life for you and me, so that we will come under God’s favour forever. To be under God’s favour means, to receive His unmerited grace and favouritism.

And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not. Malachi 3,18

Jesus makes all the difference. In Him, you became the righteousness of God (2. Corinthians 5,21). You are now one of the righteous.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. Psalm 23,6

Jesus lives in you and attracts blessings. His mercy and grace will follow you wherever you go. Therefore, expect good things coming your way daily and remember, that because of Jesus you are under God’s favour.

Jesus is the answer

Do you know the feeling, having to fight on every front, always having to do something somewhere? Could you use someone to help you? Then there is good news for you: There is somebody who wants to fight for you and wants to take away your burden.
When my siblings and I were kids, our father used to read to us from the bible and would ask questions afterwards. In 99% of the cases the right answer was Jesus. If you weren’t sure what the right answer was, you just said Jesus, as mostly it would have been right anyway.

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Romans 8,32

In fact, Jesus is the right answer in 100% of the cases. This is exactly what this verse in Romans 8 describes. God loved you and me so much, that He gave His greatest treasure for us: His beloved son! In Jesus you are given everything you need. That means, that Jesus wants to be for you whatever you need Him to be. If you need healing, Jesus is your healer. If you need salvation, Jesus is your saviour. If you need financial provision, Jesus is your provider. If you need restoration of your relationships, Jesus is the one who restores. The list could go on and on. No matter what you need, Jesus wants to be it for you!

It’s not about what you do or don’t do, what you are or you’re not, it’s only about what Jesus is and what He did. His perfect work on the cross, His dead and His resurrection have purchased you the right to receive every blessing you can think of. It’s God’s explicit desire that all is well with you.

When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself, saying, “I will surely bless you and give you many descendants.” Hebrews 6,13-14

Wow, what a statement. God even sweared by Himself, that He would richly bless you and multiply you. Trust His promise for God cannot lie (Hebrews 6,18).
Therefore, our only effort should be to rest in Jesus finished work and cast EVERYTHING that bothers us to Him. God said, that with Jesus, we received everything. And yes, everything actually means EVERYTHING! Stop trying to do anything on your own and start depending on Jesus and His abilities.

The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” Exodus 14,14

Let Jesus fight your battles. Your task is to rest.
